Hiber Brings Ready Player Me to HiberWorld as it passes 4 Million User Created Virtual Worlds

Hiber, the creator of HiberWorld, an open, web-first, no code, free-to-use Web 3 powered metaverse platform today officially launches customizable 3D avatars in partnership with Ready Player Me. The launch coincides with HiberWorld reaching 4 million user created worlds.

The Ready Player Me avatars give users a wide range of customizability and options for self-expression. The avatars can used across the HiberWorld metaverse platform and beyond, leading the way in digital interoperability.

Hiber believes the next iteration of the internet should be built with interoperability and openness at its core and rather than presenting players with walled gardens. HiberWorld and Ready Player Me are empowering everyone to own their identity and take their digital assets wherever they go.

Hiber is built upon the motivation to create an open metaverse platform where barriers to entry are removed for everyone to create, play and participate,” said Michael Yngfors, co-founder and CEO of Hiber. “Adopting Ready Player Me’s avatar solution bolsters this vision with the technology allowing users to create and maintain their unique identity as they move through a multitude of metaverse experiences.”

“HiberWorld was one of the most anticipated platforms by our users and we couldn’t be more excited about the launch of the integration” said Timmu Tõke, CEO & Co-Founder of Ready Player Me. “Users of Hiber’s platform can now take advantage of interoperable avatars, allowing them to explore millions of virtual worlds with their consistent digital identity.”

Over the past 4 years the HiberWorld platform has grown to host more than 4 million user created virtual worlds and experiences, including 3D hangouts, games, challenges, interactive science museums, roller coasters, art showcases, and more.
